Milan director Igli Tare confirms the Rossoneri will discuss Christian Pulisic’s contract extension ‘at the right time’ but insists the USMNT star ‘he has a central role in this group.’
New Milan director Tare shared his view on the 2025 summer transfer window, revealing that the Rossoneri want to sign five new players, including a centre-forward.
Milan will offer new contract to Pulisic

Tare faced questions about players’ sales and possible extensions, including a possible new deal for Christian Pulisic.
“He will be a key player for next season: I will have the opportunity to discuss the renewal with Giorgio at the right time, but right now we are only focused on the team,” Tare said via SempreMilan.

“I think he was one of the most positive players last season, and he is one of the pillars of the season to come: he has a central role in this group.”
Pulisic was Milan’s best scorer in 2024-25, scoring 17 goals and providing 12 assists in 50 appearances across all competitions.
Latest updates on Pulisic’s contract extension with Milan

Gazzetta reported in April that the Rossoneri were in advanced talks over an improved contract for Pulisic.
The American’s current deal at San Siro expires in June 2027, but it includes an option to extend until 2028.
According to Gazzetta, Pulisic was open to signing a new deal until June 2029.
The 26-year-old joined Milan in a €20m deal from Chelsea in 2023.
