The Week 4 matchup between the Michigan Wolverines and the Nebraska Cornhuskers has become more than just a Saturday matchup. It will be a high-stakes personal wager between two podcast hosts and alumni from the respective schools.
Will Compton and Taylor Lewan, who co-host the "Bussin' With The Boys" podcast, shared their bet on Thursday's edition of ESPN's "Get Up." According to the show's host, Mike Grenberg, it will be called the "Alumni Bowl."
Lewan, a former Michigan standout, said he left the bet conditions open for Compton, who played for Nebraska.
Here are the final terms:
The loser must shave their entire head and face, including Lewan's signature mustache, with no exception for eyebrows. Compton quickly pushed back to save the eyebrows.
Additionally, Lewan insisted the loser must concede to Michigan's 1997 national championship.
The climax of the wager comes with a charitable twist. "Bussin' With The Boys" announced it will donate $50,000 to the NIL collective of the winner's alma mater.
Both teams open Big Ten play on Saturday. Nebraska (3-0) is undefeated on the season, while No. 21 Michigan (2-1) pursues its first road win.
Huskers coach Matt Rhule aims to break a personal skid, as he is 0-6 against ranked opponents. Nebraska will also be chasing its first victory over Michigan since 2013.
