Micah Parsons calls for more snaps following dominant Packers win over Commanders

The Green Bay Packers seem to have the best pass rush in all of football, and that's thanks to Micah Parsons.

Since being acquired from the Dallas Cowboys, the former Penn State standout has put Green Bay's defense over the top, and in last night's dominating win over the Washington Commanders, he recorded eight quarterback pressures and half a sack in just 44 snaps.

While he's still on a snap count thanks to not participating in most of training camp, Parsons is ready to let it rip. "Honestly, it's pissing me off. I tell them it does more worse than good. I get tight and stuff. Hopefully they just let me off, man. Can't hold a dog back forever," he said after last night's game.

Parsons is Ready for the Full Workload

The former 12th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft has been nursing a back injury since the start of the offseason program, which some had initially thought was a negotiation tactic in Dallas.

Once the blockbuster trade went down, it became apparent that it was not theatrics, but a L4/L5 facet joint sprain, which almost forced Parsons to get an epidural before playing.

Instead, he has been held to limited action in the first two games, but that doesn't mean he's not making an impact.

"I don't think we make this type of move if we didn't believe we could do that," the former Nittany Lion said of the blockbuster trade.

"Shoutout to the organization for believing in me and thinking I could come in and make an impact. I just want to keep holding up this standard and level that they expected me to come in and play with."

After just two games, the Packers have vaulted themselves into Super Bowl consideration, thanks to just how dominant they look on both sides of the ball.
