Mutual fund managers were cautious while buying stocks in April, keeping in mind the tensions between India and Pakistan, and uncertainty around the outcome of tariff wars as the US and China continued to levy counter tariffs. Fund managers made purchases in segments where stocks have corrected sharply.
They made selective purchases in sectors like capital goods and power, where sharp declines of more than 25% in individual stocks made them good rotational plays.
