Wyatt Griffin from Chase County High School in Kansas, though, has. Griffin put together the incredible performance last week in leading his team to a 70-50 victory over Kiowa County in Kansas high school football's eight-player division.
Griffin had seven rushing touchdowns and 335 yards on the ground from his quarterback position. The other three touchdowns came in the air, as he piled up 225 yards that way too.
The senior mixed in his scores early, rushing in the first of the 10 touchdowns before throwing the second to teammate Maddex Meyer. He added a second passing touchdown shortly later to Pake Bailey, as a long TD run later in the first half put Chase County back on top before the break.
Both teams found the end zone aplenty, as the score was knotted up at 36-all after 24 minutes of play. Griffin had two more scores before the intermission of the fireworks.
In the third quarter alone, he ran in four scores and threw a fourth, as the Bulldogs became unstoppable in taking a commanding lead, with four of those five TDs being consecutive in building a 62-36 advantage.
Chase County is now 1-1 on the season, as they return to action this Friday at Axtell, who is ranked No. 1 in the latest Kansas high school football rankings for eight-player, Division II.
