Joe Burrow needed help getting to the locker room on Sunday.

The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback was sacked by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the second quarter. Burrow remained down while trainers tended to him.

He eventually made his way to the blue medical tent before going back to the locker room with assistance. Burrow had a visible limp as he walked with personnel on either side of him.

The Bengals announced Burrow would not return to the game.

A source told FOX19’s Joe Danneman that Burrow underwent an MRI and was using a one-legged scooter to avoid putting weight on his left leg.

Prior to the injury, Burrow completed seven of his 13 passes for 76 yards and a touchdown.

Burrow has dealt with injuries throughout his career including a torn ACL, a calf strain and wrist issues.

Jake Browning took over at quarterback for the injured Burrow.
