Amazon Prime Day 2025 is bringing some historic-low prices on some of our favorite tech items. (Rick Broida/Yahoo)
Welcome to Amazon Prime Day — or, as I like to call it, Discount-Tech-A-Palooza. (I don't know what a "Palooza" is, but I'm going with it.) This annual shop-fest serves up deals of all stripes, but some of the best ones are of the gadget variety: tablets, earbuds, Bluetooth trackers and other cool tech. Because I test and write about this gear all day every day, I feel uniquely qualified to spotlight the absolute best Amazon Prime Day tech deals — which I've done below.
In case you're feeling a little jaded about all this, here's a fact: Many of these items are selling at historic-low prices. This despite new tariffs and other global uncertainties. In addition, most of them I own and use myself, hence my enthusiastic recommendation to take advantage of these deep discounts.
Looking for more? Be sure to check out Yahoo's Prime Day hub, which will steer you to the latest and greatest deals.
Note: Some discounts require an Amazon Prime subscription. And while we continually monitor pricing and availability, prices often change without warning and products sometimes sell out.

AirTags are great at helping you find misplaced keys and other items, but UGreen's tracker leverages the exact same Apple Find My network — plus it has a keyring loop, something sorely missing from AirTags.
UGreen also promises up to two years of operation from the tracker's replaceable battery; AirTags are good for just one year. And with a Prime Day price tag of just $10, you can afford to stow these everywhere: purses, backpacks, luggage, even cars and dog collars.

Been meaning to try these best-in-class 'buds? They boast active noise cancellation, which shuts out the world so you can immerse yourself in music or whatever makes you happy. Adaptive Transparency mode allows you to listen to your tunes but also hear any important noises from your surroundings — and this is a new all-time low.

I'm increasingly impressed with TP-Link's lineup of Tapo smart-home products. This security camera features 2K resolution, a 150-degree field of view, a cleverly designed magnetic mount and a battery that's good for up to 300 days before needing a recharge. AI-powered detection features are included at no extra charge, and you can use local storage to bypass a cloud subscription, too.

The ultimate upgrade for any TV, the Roku Ultra outfits it with the fastest, friendliest streaming interface you can get. I especially like the backlit remote, which also features a rechargeable battery, hands-free voice commands and a locator (for when it goes missing in the couch cushions).
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Roku Ultra topped our list of the best streaming devices. At this price, the lowest on record, it's even better.

It's hard to justify spending hundreds of dollars on an iPad when Amazon's 10-inch Fire HD tablet can be had for just $70. That's the lowest price on record for this model, by the way, and while it may lack some of the iPad's spit and polish, it can perform just about all the same tasks. Heck, you could buy four and still end up paying less than you would for a single iPad.

These "open-ear" headphones hook around your ears instead of venturing inside them. This not only achieves a super-secure fit, but also keeps you safer by letting in outside sound (like oncoming traffic). The AeroFit 2 is the best example of this to date, a glossy, stylish set that's comfortable enough to wear all day and stocked with a battery powerful enough for all-day listening. Here's my roundup of the best open-ear headphones if you want to learn more.

Sorry, Apple, Bose and Sony — for my money, the Sonos Ace ranks as the best wireless headphone. And that's especially true at this Prime Day price of $299, the lowest on record and a savings of $150. What does the Ace, er, ace? Sound quality, obviously, but also noise-cancelling and spatial audio. And if you own a Sonos soundbar, you can route TV audio to the headphones with the press of a button. Super-cool.

This is going to sound hyperbolic, but I am madly in love with my Hisense CanvasTV. Every time I walk into the room, it's displaying a different work of subscription-free art. It's not only priced far below Samsung's Frame TV, it also comes with an actual frame — no extra charge for that. Stay with me on this: Even if you don't use it as your full-time TV, it's great to have just as an art-cycling wall decoration.

This isn't exactly a high-tech item, but it solves one of life's biggest annoyances: mosquito bites. Just cover the bit with the suction cup and pull back on the plunger; if you catch it early enough, it should remove most of the venom that makes you itchy. These things rarely go on sale, and this price is actually the lowest on record. I already have several, otherwise you can bet I'd be stocking up.
