So what's on my must-buy list at the once-a-year Nordstrom Anniversary Sale? A Dyson vacuum for $200 off, Viking mixing bowls for $80 and more.

I’ve been covering home goods for the better part of my journalistic career, which means I’m privy to new and notable product releases on the daily — both a blessing and a curse. While I need to be in the know for my work life, the info has a way of seeping into my personal life. Let’s just say, my space is in constant flux (occupational hazard). So, when the annual Nordstrom Anniversary Sale rolls around, my cart is already locked and loaded with must-haves for my house from brands like Parachute, Viking, Le Creuset, Our Place and more; all I have to do is check out.

And because of said job, and well, karma, I’m bestowing my curated finds unto you — and namedropping a few. If you’re looking to up your blanket game (snag this Barefoot Dreams option for over 30% off), be the host with the most (impress with a rotating charcuterie board that's down to $57) or give your cookware a makeover (I'm a fan of these Staub baking dishes that are marked down by $60), these are the pieces you need right now. I also spotted a Dyson cordless vacuum for nearly $200 off!

Though the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is on now through August 3, don’t snooze on stocking the items you’re eyeing, or you may lose out — everyone else is shopping like it’s hot.

The beauty and genius of these stainless-steel bowls is that they come with lids, doing double duty as mixing vessels and storage potential. They’re also embossed with measuring marks, so you’ll never under- or -over serve ingredients.

Easy-clean steel all-but eliminates caked on, well, cake, and the accompanying strainer completes the team. But perhaps the pièce de résistance is their nesting capability, which means only one bowl occupies space in your cupboard. The rest live rent free.

This pastel ceramic cookware set takes its cue from a Parisienne patisserie. The macaron-inspired shades of bowls and baking dishes is so pretty, you’ll be hard-pressed not to keep them on permanent display in the kitchen or in a glass curio cabinet.

Crafted from hearty stoneware ceramic, the collection is both microwave- and dishwasher-safe. With six bowls and two baking dishes, this set serves up all the style and circumstance.

Sure, I have charcuterie boards in my arsenal (nothing like getting married to fill your shelves). But none of them are like this baby, which takes cheese and meats for a stylish spin, giving everyone at your table (or picnic blanket) a turn.

It comes with two removable ceramic dishes for messier items like dips or spreads that require deeper cleaning via dishwasher.

Can you even call it summer without rosé all day? This cute color-blocked cup set keeps drinks flowing so they never lose their cool. Made from BPA-free plastic and outfitted with a silicone grip, the cups have a built-in cooling gel, so when frozen, bevs become chilled for up to two hours.

Word to the wise: Guests may linger longer with these cups in hand, since sips are made to be savored.

Le Creuset is pretty much the gold standard in cookware, beloved by renowned chefs (including one Barefoot Contessa!) for durable, enameled cast iron pieces that stand up to high heat and the test of time. This Dutch oven in an oval design is perfect for saucy pastas, larger cuts of meat, whole chicken and stew.

It'll also add some nice color to your counter, stove and tabletop. If you're looking for a more neutral hue, the kitchen essential also comes in black and gray.

This multitasking wonder lets me get creative with my cooking while preserving counter space. It offers six cooking functions — including air frying, roasting, toasting and baking — in one beautiful, color-coated, non-toxic frame.

Yahoo Home & Garden Writer Kristin Granero named the smaller version one of the Best Air Fryers of 2025, but I'm all about this larger one that has more than double the capacity. It can even fit a 12-inch pizza!

A good set of kitchen knives is a kitchen staple that goes a long way from day to day, making quick work of slicing, dicing, chopping, carving and cutting so your dishes are prepared to perfection and presented on time.

This premium set from Viking hosts a practical assortment of chef, paring and steak knives — crafted of stainless steel in Germany — complete with a wooden block for safekeeping. It’s a great addition to your countertop or gift for your favorite cook, and at over $100 off, it's a prime time to buy.

This Barefoot Dreams blanket delivers the warm and cozies via a soft microfiber that stays impossibly soft wash after wash. The generous size keeps everything under wraps so not a toe will be left out in the cold.

Four neutral hues ranging from mauve to gray won’t disrupt your color scheme.

With two adults, two dogs and one toddler living in my house, someone always needs cleaning. And I’m always on the hunt for touchable, absorbent towels that won’t lose their softness after washing. These are a must buy thanks to a lush, organic cotton weave, which leaves the yarns untwisted, creating greater surface area.

With nine soothing colorways, it’s easy to find the ideal fit.

If you’re anything like my husband, aka Goldilocks, no pillow will ever be good enough (trust me, we have the feathered carnage to prove it). That's why I'm trying this one, which shoppers say is "absolutely perfect in every way."

It's soft (but not too soft) and has hypoallergenic fill cushions to help keep you cool. "I've tried much more expensive pillows and I find this one to be more comfortable," said another fan.

Parachute is a brand long hailed for the luxurious quality of its sheets. So, when they go on sale, I run — or in this case, click to cart. Fashioned from brushed- and garment-washed organic-cotton sateen, the fabric is so silky, it turns your bed into a 5-star hotel experience.

At more than $100 off retail, this set, which includes a flat and fitted sheet, as well as two pillowcases, is the one (or three) to beat

There’s something so indulgent about stepping out of the shower onto a perfectly plush parcel, amiright? So, take this opportunity to officially ditch your dingy bathmat for one that looks and feels luxe yet is on sale for $32.

Trust me, your feet will thank you.

For me, space is at a premium. When I invest in something for my home, it often needs to merge form and function. What I love about this roomy lidded bin is it’s chic enough to live in the living room for more storage, or it could serve as a stylish hamper.

Want to make it a set? There's also a medium-size option on sale.

Thanks to the aforementioned occupants of my household, I have fragrant candles (safely) wafting on repeat and out of reach (from little hands and paws). Voluspa is one of my favorite brands for their variety of scents and the beauty of their vessels.

This mini trio in Wildflowers, Eucalyptus & White Sage, and Mountain Lavender & Chamomile makes for the perfect hostess gift — though really, you won’t want to part with it.

All hail, there’s a Dyson on sale — and for almost $200 off the retail price. This is hands-down my pick, because it’s cord-free and has a long handle for hard-to-reach places or those on high. Numbers nerds will appreciate the real-time run time reporting.

And if you have furry family members like me, the super suction capability whisks away pet hair like it was never there.
