How to watch No. 13 Ole Miss vs. Tulane: TV schedule, kickoff time and streaming options

It’s a warm September afternoon for No. 13 Ole Miss and Tulane to kickoff in Oxford, Mississippi in just a few hours with the Rebels and Green Wave both looking to improve to 4-0.

The big news dropping in the last 24 hours or so is the decision to have Trinidad Chambliss start his second game in a row for Ole Miss. The Ferris State transfer combined for more than 400 yards of offense against Arkansas last week to lead the Rebels to a 41-35 win.

Pete Golding’s defense seemed lost for the first half of last week’s contest with the Razorbacks, but it is hopefully fingers crossed no jinx only due to the Taylen Green affect of having a very mobile and athletic QB under center. Another QB enters the Vaught who has shown the ability to put up more than 100 yards rushing in a game in BYU transfer Jake Retzlaff. Last week against Duke, the 22 year old signal caller rushed for 111 yards and four touchdowns to power the Green Wave offense.

But Ole Miss is not Duke, Northwestern or South Alabama. At least dear sweet nine pound baby Jesus I hope not.

The Rebels offense needs to come out and drop 40 points on this team, and then let the defense surround Retzlaff in every facet of the game. The big receiving threat for Tulane seems to be Omari Hayes who has 13 receptions through three games.

Offensively, Tre Wallace, Cayden Lee, Deuce Alexander and Dae’Quan Wright need to give Chambliss the ability to spread out the defense and move the ball as Lane Kiffin’s offense dictates. Running back Kewan Lacy having a 100-yard rushing day would really open everything up, and he has absolutely every bit of ability to bust some 15+ yard runs today.

This series is one of the most played in Ole Miss football history, and Tulane is the most played opponent for the Rebels outside of an SEC team. The line has stayed solid at Ole Miss -12.5, but I still don’t know if I’d put the nest egg on it. Spot the damn ball and let’s go Rebs.
