Area soccer teams received an early dose of match experience last weekend.  

The Bluegrass State Games, described on the official website as “a non-profit program sponsored privately to promote amateur athletics across the Commonwealth,” brings teams from all around Kentucky to Lexington to create a competitive atmosphere during the summer.
