Flamengo's Under-20 team CRUSHED Bayer Leverkusen 5-1 in a friendly match this Friday (18th) in Rio de Janeiro.
Lorran, Arthur (own goal), Matheus Gonçalves, and Pedro Leão scored 4-0 for the Rio team just in the first half.
Fla scored the fifth goal in the second half with Gusttavo, and the German club responded with Culbreath, finalizing the score.
Fla used a team full of young players with some reinforcements from the professional group (such as goalkeeper Matheus Cunha).
The German club fielded a reserve team but with well-known names like Arthur, Hofmann, and Boniface.

Pre-season in 🇧🇷
Bayer Leverkusen is conducting their pre-season in Brazil to, of course, prepare the team for the 2025/26 season.
But also to promote their brand in Brazil and further strengthen the relationship with Brazilian football.
Leverkusen has had several Brazilians wearing its jersey, such as Lúcio, Juan, Renato Augusto, Zé Elias, Paulinho, and Paulo Sérgio.
