Fans Notice Something Off About Fever's Caitlin Clark During Sunday's Game vs. Aces

The Indiana Fever battled the Las Vegas Aces on Sunday in Nevada with the Fever taking a 21-20 first quarter lead and increasing it to 42-36 at the half. 

The first half box score was noteworthy for an incredible performance by Fever starting center Aliyah Boston, who scored 18 points and had six rebounds in 17 minutes of action.

Boston teammate Caitlin Clark had five points at halftime, one quarter removed from putting up a goose egg in the scoring department after the first quarter.

Fans noticed something off about Clark as they took to social media to vent their feelings during a break in the action.

"She's forcing her shots," one fan said about Clark. 

"She needs to make some shots. Drive and get fouled and get to the line. Needs to find a rhythm," another fan added

"When she breaks this slump, she'll go on a tear," another fan added

"She's gotta make a three here and there. Hate this slump crap," another fan said

"If her shot isn't gonna fall she better start hustling on defense," another said.

Boston was the only Fever player in double figures as her team continued to battle the Aces and star center A'ja Wilson.

Wilson led the Aces with 11 points as of the third quarter while Chelsea Gray had 9 points in support of her teammate.

The Fever found themselves at 6-6 on the season against the 5-7 Aces, surprising records for two teams with WNBA Finals aspirations.
