DUAL Group, part of Howden, has joined forces with cyber risk management company KYND to enhance its cyber insurance services.
The initial phase of this collaboration will be rolled out in Australia and New Zealand, with a subsequent global launch planned.
The new services offered in Australia and New Zealand will provide brokers and their clients with risk assessment tools.
Clients will receive a KYND Signals report with each cyber insurance quote from the WebRater platform, detailing a colour-coded risk profile based on more than 250 factors including potential ransomware risks and other vulnerabilities.
After obtaining insurance, clients will have the option to use KYND ON, a platform that offers ongoing monitoring of their cyber risk profile.
This service is designed to help clients identify and address potential cyber threats in real time, thereby preventing future issues.
It also includes alerts for emerging threats that could compromise data security.
DUAL Group chief innovation officer Scott Sayce said: “This new service is a tangible testament to DUAL’s continued commitment to innovate in cyber solutions to benefit our brokers and their clients. Together, we are empowering the insureds with real-time, actionable insights to navigate today’s complex threat landscape and market volatility.
“DUAL continues to build on its technology-first approach. By integrating KYND’s powerful cyber risk insights directly into the quoting process, means our brokers can offer their clients more informed advice.”
KYND CEO and founder Andy Thomas stated: “DUAL’s global scale, commitment to innovation and bold vision for the future of cyber make this partnership especially significant for us. We are proud to be chosen as their trusted cyber risk intelligence partner, and to deliver the insight and tools that help brokers and their clients thrive in a constantly changing digital landscape."
In July, DUAL Europe launched a trade credit insurance business, with Frank Masteling appointed to lead the new venture.
"DUAL Group partners with KYND to bolster cyber insurance offerings " was originally created and published by Life Insurance International, a GlobalData owned brand.
