A fire ripped through a shopping mall in the eastern Iraqi city of Kut, leaving dozens of people dead, including children, local officials said.
The fire began on Wednesday at around 11 p.m. Mohammad Jamil Al-Mayahy, the governor of Wasit Province, where Kut is located, announced three days of mourning.
