After his departure from Manchester United, Christian Eriksen has signed a new contract. The 33-year-old has signed a contract with VfL Wolfsburg until 2027, the club announced on its homepage. He will wear the number 24 jersey for the Wolves.
The Danish record national player is looking forward to the challenge in a new league: "For me, VfL Wolfsburg is the first stop in the Bundesliga - I am very much looking forward to this new adventure. I am convinced that we can achieve something together in Wolfsburg. The talks with those responsible were very good. I immediately felt that Paul Simonis has a clear idea for the team and also for me. The fact that numerous faces familiar to me from the Danish national team are in the squad makes VfL particularly attractive to me," the Dane is quoted on the VfL homepage.
