Did Bronny James get drug tested after big dunk? Explaining Lakers viral rumor about LeBron’s son

Bronny James reminded the NBA world of his athleticism on Sunday.

After nabbing a steal, he took it coast-to-coast himself and rose up for a dunk quite reminiscent of his father, LeBron.

Of course, some used the opportunity to dunk on Bronny in a roundabout way.

That included one parody account, attempting to go viral with a post saying the NBA drug tested Bronny immediately after his big dunk.

Did Bronny James get drug tested after his big dunk?

There is no evidence that the NBA drug tested Bronny James after his athletic dunk on Sunday in Summer League action.

Technically, he could've been, but the testing program is supposed to be random.

The post about the test came from NBA Centel, which attempts to parody realistic NBA news.

Between July 1 and Sept. 30, players are subject to no more than two random drug tests. Then from Oct. 1 through June 30, players are subject to no more than four random drug tests.

If Bronny was drug tested this week, it was as part of the calendar flipping to July and allowing for such offseason testing to begin again, not due to any huge dunk.
