The location for the 2026-2027 Champions League final is already known.

According to information from El Partidazo de Cope, UEFA is set to announce this Thursday, September 11, during its executive committee meeting in Tirana, that the 2027 Champions League final will be played at Atlético Madrid's home ground. For several months, the Colchoneros' stadium has been among the favorites to host this major event. In March, Rafael Louzán, president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, had hinted that the decision was all but final, much to the surprise of Atlético's management.

With its cutting-edge facilities and proven ability to host major events, the Metropolitano has become a benchmark in Europe.
