Caitlin Clark’s Wild Behavior Toward WNBA Official Turns Heads During Fever-Sun

Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark has been known to wear her heart on her sleeve.

When she’s happy, she shows it. And when she’s upset, she shows that too — sometimes in an even more dramatic way.

That’s exactly what happened Tuesday night in Indiana’s 85-77 win over the Connecticut Sun.

Clark finished the night with 14 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and a steal, but she turned quite a few heads with something she did with a little over four-and-a-half minutes left in the third quarter.

The reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year went viral on social media after getting into a pretty heated dispute with an official.

One video of the altercation shows Clark yelling at the official to grow up before gesturing for him to come closer so she could speak with him. After the ref headed in Clark’s direction, another video shows Clark taking exception to what he said to her and having to be restrained by assistant coach Briann January.

Some fans flocked to the comment section moments later to question what the ref said to Clark to set her off.

“He must have said something super out of pocket because she went from 0-100 quick!!!!” one fan noted.

“Guy said something. Pretty obvious. Any other way, the ref would’ve given her a Tech 100000%,” another pointed out.

“What did he say? The back and forth was pretty chill and reasonable the whole time. Then he says something, walks away, and her entire demeanor changed and she snaps,” remarked a third fan.

“He absolutely said something that caused this. Ever thought of that?” one user explained.

Other fans voiced their opinion that Clark should’ve had some sort of repercussions for going off on an official (she walked away from the argument without receiving a technical foul.)

“Threatening language to a ref. Just imagine angel did this. No seriously just take a second to imagine. Nasty woman,” one fan wrote.

“T her up. Her nonsense needs to stop,” a second fan remarked.

“Ref should’ve been T-ed up if we’re being honest,” one user stated.

“Insane level of entitlement 💀,” another user added.
