Caitlin Clark Leaves Two-Word Message on Lexie Hull's Post

Caitlin Clark is entering her second WNBA season after a standout rookie year in which she averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 8.4 assists per game.

Several teammates from last year’s 20–20 squad have returned, including Aliyah Boston, Kelsey Mitchell and Lexie Hull.

Clark and Hull, in particular, have developed a strong friendship off the court. The two have vacationed together in Mexico and even went to a Jordan Davis concert in their free time.

On Tuesday, Hull hopped on social media to share a few photos from the Fever’s media day as the new season nears.

"almost that time," Hull captioned it.

Clark, to no one's surprise, saw the post and left a comment on it.

"Slay bbg," she wrote.

Clark enters the season with sky-high expectations. She’s currently the favorite to win WNBA MVP, with +200 odds on ESPN BET. Right behind her are Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson at +225 and Minnesota Lynx standout Napheesa Collier at +375.

While Clark embraces the spotlight, Lexie Hull is focused on taking the next step in her fourth season. The 2022 No. 6 overall pick averaged 5.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists last year, appearing in all 34 games and starting 11.

Clark, Hull and the Fever have one final preseason tune-up on Saturday against the Atlanta Dream before the regular season officially tips off on May 17. They’ll open with a highly anticipated matchup against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky, scheduled for 3 p.m. ET on ABC.
