Caitlin Clark Catches Attention After Moment Against Former Indiana Fever Teammate

After missing five games with a left quad strain, Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark made her return on Saturday, helping her team move back to .500.

On Tuesday, Clark and the Fever faced off against Tina Charles and the Connecticut Sun, eyeing revenge from their first matchup of the season.

In the final seconds of the first quarter, Sun guard Jaelyn Brown received the ball at the top of the arc with Clark guarding her 1-on-1. Brown made a couple of moves on the All-WNBA guard before hitting a stepback 3-pointer in Clark's face just before the buzzer went off.

Brown notably spent a majority of the 2025 WNBA preseason with Clark and the Fever. After playing in three preseason games, totaling nine points, seven rebounds and five assists, she was cut. Brown was signed by the Sun on June 2.

WNBA fans were impressed with Brown's moment over Clark, taking to social media to leave their thoughts.

"OMG LETS GO FAMILY," one fan said.

"Let’s (expletive) go!" added another.

"Come on lil sis!" wrote a third.

"lol, get yours Jaelyn. CC tried," commented a fourth.

"You didn’t have to do all that Jaelyn," posted a fifth.

"Jaelyn Brown revenge game," claimed a sixth.
