Bryson DeChambeau has finally won his third LIV Golf Individual tournament. The big day at Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea was his first win since 2013’s LIV Golf Chicago. But along with the triumph came a big $4 Million check that marked a historical shift.
DeChambeau entered the final round with a strong four-shot lead over Charles Howell III, who happens to be his Crushers GC teammate. Both stars had an entertaining final round of golf, but Bryson’s 48-foot birdie at the 17th hole ensured him his 3rd LIV Golf victory.
Following the win, Bryson DeChambeau was awarded the usual $4 Million payout offered to every winner of the LIV Golf individual tournaments. Before the Korea Event, 31-Year-Old Star's LIV Golf Earnings stood at $34,255,822.
After a competitive Sunday at Jack Nicklaus Golf Club in Korea, DeChambeau’s took his winnings to an exorbitant $38,255,822. His team Crushers also managed to get the team win, adding a combine of $3 Million to each of Bryson DeChambeau, Charles Howell III, Paul Casey and Anirban Lahiri's earnings.
This resulted in Bryson’s LIV Golf winnings overshadowing his PGA Tour earnings. Though the 54-tour loyalist hasn't competed at PGA Tour since the 2021 Memorial Tournament, he still accumulates an astonishing $35,270,287. DeChambeau was amongst PGA Tour's top 50 highest earners of all time before making his shocking jump to LIV Golf. Bryson DeChambeau spent nearly seven years at the PGA Tour while it only took him three years at the LIV Golf to overtake.
It is important to note this earnings only refer to the golfer's on-course earnings. Bryson off-the-court has endorsement deals with Reebok, Rolex, LA Golf, and Avoda 3D-printed irons. Back in 2021, it was also reported the 3-time Major winner was paid $125 Million to join LIV Golf. Regardless of all that, Bryson DeChambeau continues to grow both on and off the course.
