All-Pro Denver Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain II left Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts with an apparent lower leg injury.
Surtain suffered the injury midway through the second quarter. He fell to the turf after shadowing Colts receiver Michael Pittman on an out route in the flat and appeared to sustain the injury without contact. He immediately clutched his lower left leg as he sat on the turf.
Trainers tended to Surtain on the field. Surtain eventually needed the help of trainers to leave the field for the Broncos locker room.
