The Buffalo Bills received all the time in the world to prepare for Week 4. That's how it works when a team plays on Thursday Night Football the prior week. There are some bonus days built in.
Given the next opponent, it feels a tad like overkill.
The Bills' upcoming schedule, which kicks off with the New Orleans Saints visiting Buffalo on Sunday, is about as easy as it comes, on paper.
The Saints are winless and coming off an absolute clobbering at the hands of the Seattle Seahawks.
After that come the New England Patriots, who are 1-2 and haven't taken a step forward yet with second-year QB Drake Maye and first-year coach Mike Vrabel.

Then it's the Atlanta Falcons, who just lost 30-0 to the previously winless Carolina Panthers.
And then it's a bye.
The Bills, on paper, should be 6-0 by their bye week.
Of course, the NFL throws some curveballs every week, and Buffalo certainly could've lost Week 1 to the Ravens or even Week 3 to the Dolphins.
But the Bills won those games, and they're set up to keep winning.

With the Ravens now 1-2, and the Chiefs also 1-2, Buffalo is in the driver's seat for the top seed in the AFC (with the Los Angeles Chargers also looking like a threat).
Could the path to the Super Bowl run through Western New York? The Bills certainly have the schedule to make that happen.
