Barcelona eyeing deal for brother of new signing

The brass at La Liga giants Barcelona are expressing a keen interest in a deal for Rayan Bardghji, brother of new signing Roony.

That’s according to market insider Fabrizio Romano, who has provided an insight into the situation.

Barcelona of course made official the arrival of Roony Bardghji earlier this week, in a cut-price deal from FC Copenhagen.

The attacker has since gone on to link up with Hansi Flick’s squad in pre-season training, hopeful of carving out a first-team berth for himself this coming season.

As alluded to above, though, Roony may not be the only member of the Bardghji family plying his trade in Blaugrana colours in 2025/26.

This comes amid confirmation that the board at the Camp Nou are also exploring a potential deal for Rayan Bardghji.

A 15-year-old who also operates in the final third, Bardghji has long been held in high regard.

So much so that, as per a report from journalist Fabrizio Romano:

‘Understand Barcelona are now also working on signing Rayan Bardghji. Roony’s 15 year old brother is on Barça list as out of contract at FC Copenhagen, turning 16 in November with many clubs keen on signing him.’
