As usual, some of the best Amazon Prime Day deals are on Amazon's own devices. (Rick Broida/Yahoo)

If you’ve been napping — no judgment — you might’ve missed that Amazon sells more than books and beauty products. It’s also ground zero for its own gadgets: TVs, tablets, e-readers, smart speakers and more. And right now, Prime Day 2025 is serving up some of the steepest discounts of the year — up to 73% off. (Seriously. The Echo Auto is just $15, cheaper than a burger and fries.)

Below, I’ve rounded up a list of Amazon device deals actually worth clicking on. Looking for more great savings? Check out Yahoo's Prime Day hub, which will steer you to the latest and greatest deals on everything.

Note: Some discounts require an Amazon Prime subscription. And while we continually monitor pricing and availability, prices often change without warning and products sometimes sell out.

The best Prime Day deals on Amazon devices

"Alexa, find me a deal on... yourself." The Echo Pop is a compact smart speaker that's perfect for nightstands and other spots where you don't need big, booming audio.

Note that while this isn't the lowest price on record for the Pop, it's close — and still an objectively good buy if you just want a basic Alexa speaker. Also, for just $5 more, you can get the Pop bundled with an Amazon Basics Smart Color Bulb.

I already thought this was the best budget streaming device at $60, so the Fire TV Stick 4K Max at just $35? Sweet deal indeed.

Ideal for upgrading older TVs (or replacing an older streaming device), the 4K Max offers fast Wi-Fi, robust smart-home integration (courtesy of Alexa) and some amazingly good gaming options. I don't love the user interface, but sometimes a low price helps you overlook a few foibles.

For my money, there's no better budget tablet than the Amazon Fire HD 8. (I said as much in my roundup of the best tablets for 2025.) And that was based on the $100 list price; at $55, which ties the all-time low, it's an absolute steal.

No, it doesn't match the Apple iPad Mini in terms of polish, versatility and user interface. But it's literally nearly one-tenth the price right now, and it can do pretty much everything you'd want a tablet to do.

Another winner in our roundup of the best tablets, the Kids edition of the Fire HD 8 has more or less the same hardware — but with a child-proof case and super-generous warranty: two years of coverage, including accidental breakage. (Do your worst, Junior!)

At $75, this tablet is tied for its all-time-low price — which hasn't been seen since Black Friday 2024. Whether you've got kids or grandkids, don't pass it up.

It's hard to justify spending hundreds of dollars on an iPad when Amazon's 10-inch Fire HD tablet can be had for just $70. That's the lowest price on record for this model, by the way, and while it may lack some of the iPad's spit and polish, it can perform just about all the same tasks. Heck, you could buy four and still end up paying less than you would for a single iPad.

Look, do you need a Kindle e-reader with a color screen? No. Is it nice to have? Absolutely, especially at this price, the lowest on record (by a lot, actually). Amazon's first color Kindle offers the same screen resolution and battery life as the popular Paperwhite, but with a hue difference. (See what I did there?)

Want a Kindle with a huge screen you can write on? That's the Scribe in a nutshell; it's not only an oversize e-reader, but also a writing tablet.

This is the lowest price on record for the 2024 model, which I liked a lot — everything except the price. At $260, it's a lot more palatable.

The best tech advice I can give anyone is to get a soundbar. It'll so dramatically improve your TV viewing experience — well, TV listening experience — you won't believe it. Amazon's 5.1-channel Dolby Atmos system includes not just a powerful soundbar, but also a wireless subwoofer and satellite speakers. A dedicated center channel helps you hear voices more clearly, too. This is the lowest price on record for Amazon's flagship TV sound system.

I'll die on this hill: A big TV is one of life's greatest luxuries. But it doesn't have to be one of its most expensive: The 75-inch Omni QLED Series is on sale for just $570, a savings of almost 50% and by far the lowest price on record. (The best deal prior to this was $800).

This spacious screen features Dolby Vision IQ, local dimming, hands-free Alexa voice controls and Amazon's Ambient Experience, which lets you enjoy some nifty artwork when you're not streaming The Bear.
