Alfa takes “Start” Down Under with ANZ asset finance launch

Mon, Sep 15, 2025, 12:43 PM 1 min read

Alfa, provider of the Alfa Systems software platform for asset finance, has launched “Alfa Start” for Australia and New Zealand – a preconfigured SaaS project accelerator designed to speed up digital transformation for finance providers.

The company said the new regional version builds on the successful European rollout earlier this year, “bringing the same powerful functionality, tailored to the needs of the ANZ market.”

Covering the full asset finance lifecycle, from origination and approval to onboarding, servicing and collections, Alfa Start incorporates predefined best-practice processes and configuration “refined through Alfa’s extensive experience” with finance providers.

Key features include local accounting standards and support for multiple currencies (AUD, NZD and USD) in one instance; out-of-the-box integrations such as PPSR, single sign-on and ISO 20022-based payment interfaces; and a fully managed, single-tenant SaaS deployment to “eliminate infrastructure overheads.”

Sarah Taylor, Alfa’s Director of Operations & Delivery APAC, said finance providers in the region are seeking “smarter, more agile solutions” to deliver service under increasing regulatory and competitive pressures. “Alfa Start offers them a proven way to implement Alfa Systems at speed, with a pragmatic, best-practice setup that can still be tailored to reflect their individual operations,” she added.

Alfa said the ANZ release builds on its UK and US successes, delivering “a consistent, reliable platform that incorporates compliance and operational requirements specific to Australia and New Zealand.”

"Alfa takes “Start” Down Under with ANZ asset finance launch" was originally created and published by Leasing Life, a GlobalData owned brand.
