POLSON — Noah Agliano hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh as the Mission Valley Mariners took a 7-6 victory over the Kootenai Valley Rangers Saturday at the Firecracker Tournament.
Calvin Eisenbarth gave the Rangers (6-4) a 5-2 lead in the fourth inning on a two-run single, scoring Grady Campbell.
Mission Valley (18-15) answered back in the bottom of the inning with four runs, capped off by RBI singles from Holden Emerson and Cody Haggard.
Rowan Lytle tied the game in the fifth as he scored on an error.
The game stayed tied until Agliano’s two-out single brought home Aiden Gfroerer for the winning run.
Landon Pablo threw 3 2-3 innings for the Mariners, allowing five runs on three hits. He struck out two.
Rogan Lytle went the distance for the Rangers, scattering eight hits and fanning three batters.
