9/19 Gamethread: Giants @ Dodgers

The San Francisco Giants play game two of this four-game road series against the Los Angeles Dodgers tonight.

Taking the mound for the Giants will be left-hander Robbie Ray, who enters today’s game with a 3.50 ERA, 3.77 FIP, with 181 strikeouts to 71 walks in 177.2 innings pitched. His last start was in the Giants’ 10-2 loss to the Dodgers on Sunday, in which he allowed five runs on six hits with five strikeouts and four walks in four innings.

He’ll be facing off against noted villain and man who seems like he hangs out near high schools to re-live his glory days, Dodgers left-hander Clayton Kershaw. His last start was in last Saturday’s 13-7 win over the Giants, in which he allowed four runs on five hits with two strikeouts and a walk in three innings.
