4-Team Mock Trade Sends Celtics Champion to Warriors, Jonathan Kuminga to Nets

There have already been multiple trades that have taken place to begin the NBA offseason and there are expected to be more throughout the summer.

One team that could end up being heavily involved in the trade market is the Golden State Warriors as they try to upgrade their roster around their star trio of Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green.

Golden State has been linked to many players thus far with the offseason underway but they have recently been linked to a former champion from the Boston Celtics, Kristaps Porzingis.

Because of this, a recent four-team mock trade posted on X by Ball Report would have the Celtics sending Porzingis to the Warriors while Golden State would send Jonathan Kuminga to the Brooklyn Nets.

In the trade, the Warriors would acquire Porzingis, the No. 28 pick in the 2025 draft via Boston and a 2026 second-round pick via Brooklyn while they would send Moses Moody and Buddy Hield to the Celtics.

For the Nets, they would receive Kuminga and KJ Martin while the Utah Jazz would add Tyrese Martin, Dariq Whitehead and Jalen Wilson.

This would truly be a blockbuster trade and one that would could end up working out well for the Warriors as Porzingis would finally give them the starting center they have needed for the last handful of seasons.

Despite this, moving on from Kuminga, Hield and Moody would be a tough decision for Golden State to make, especially due to Porzingis’ injury history and massive contract.

While that may be the case, Porzingis would give the Warriors a reliable defender next to Green in the paint and he would also be another great scoring option in the lineup next to Curry and Butler.

By making this move, the Warriors could see themselves as championship contenders next season though they would need Porzingis and the rest of their roster to stay healthy.
