20 best Prime Day deals under $25: $9 Hanes shorts, 50% off a Fire Stick and more

Sure, Amazon Prime Day is your chance to score a big-ticket item for a lot less. Maybe an Apple Watch, or a Dyson vacuum. Some of the best deals, though, are on the little things — think Hanes shorts for just $9 or a cooling comforter for a record-low $24. Every discount adds up to major savings on items you'll use every day, so if you're looking to get more for less, you've come to the right spot.

Amazon Prime Day kicks off Tuesday, July 8, and runs through Friday, July 11. But don't be fooled: Not all of the deals are good deals. To make sure there's no fluff, I've been combing through all of the discounts, checking my price trackers and scrapping the snoozy fake "deals" so I can highlight the real steals. Read on for the best under $25 Prime Day deals that are actually worth adding to your cart.

If you're looking to cut the (cable) cord, the Fire TV Stick is the state-of-the-art streaming sidekick you need. Enjoy content from all of your favorite services (like Hulu, Netflix and Amazon Prime) with just the touch of a button. And feel free to ask Alexa for movie and TV suggestions if you aren't quite sure what to watch — the smart assistant is built right into the remote! Plus, the stick plugs right into an HDMI port in the back of your TV, so it's nice and tidy.

While it goes on sale pretty often, 50% off is the biggest price cut it's ever gotten. For just $25, you can turn your so-so TV into one that looks and operates like a super fancy (read: expensive) one.

These comfy pull-ons are Yahoo reader favorites, and now they're 50% off at a mere $9. They have over 5,500 five-star reviews, and it's easy to see why. For starters, they're 100% cotton, so they're soft and breathable, yet they go the distance over the course of countless wearings and washings. They have a drawstring, so you can adjust the fit as needed. Choose from light gray (shown here), charcoal heather gray, navy and black.

Now, Hanes items are no strangers to sales, but shorts for less than $15? That's a steal. And you'll have them for a very long time: "They wash and dry amazingly well. No shrinkage, no pills and look like you just took them out of the brand new package. Colors never faded either," confirmed a longtime wearer.

Kelly Ripa and other celebs use this lip mask for a hydrated, fuller-looking pout. It goes on smoothly and evenly, and will leave your lips soft and shiny. It rarely goes on sale, though. Try it while it's 30% off.

The mask comes in a few "flavors," but the Berry is a popular pick. Personally, I have Berry and while the scent is subtle, the sheer pink color is even more so. And while it's called a "sleeping mask," I use mine morning, noon and night, so I'll be restocking this Prime Day.

While Clinique's Black Honey shade has been around for a while (Liv Tyler reportedly wore it in Lord of the Rings!), the shade is trending again thanks to TikTok beauty enthusiasts. Grab the moody red color in this tinted lip balm while it's 30% off — it's lowest price in a while.

"This looks great on everyone and feels amazing!" said one Amazon reviewer shopper. We agree, and it's not sticky or tacky feeling. Wins all around!

This electric toothbrush has five cleaning modes for getting all the nitty gritty off your enamel, and it comes with a travel case, an everyday holder and cover and eight brush heads.

Eight brush heads essentially means eight toothbrushes. If you do the math, that’s about $2.50 per brush. Furthermore, dentists recommend replacing your toothbrush about every three months, so that’s about two years of toothbrushes for just $20.

If you like to keep your car squeaky clean, Senior Home & Garden Editor, Jessica Dodell-Feder, named this gadget the "best car vacuum for detailing." The fact that it's on sale for less than $20 feels like a steal, especially considering how much it would cost to get a professional detailing done.

"Unlike most of the models I tested, this car vacuum is corded and plugs into your car's 12-volt outlet (aka cigarette lighter). Is it annoying to have to keep your car running while you clean? Yes, but I also appreciated that I didn't have to worry about whether the battery was charged," she said.

Ina Garten's favorite cast iron pan is on sale! For a limited time, you can grab it for just $20. This tough-as-nails Lodge skillet can be used anywhere — on the stove, over the grill, in the oven or even over a campfire.

Cast iron is incredibly durable, but it's also excellent at heat retention to ensure consistent cooking. And this one comes pre-seasoned, so you don't have to fiddle around oiling it up — it's ready to use right out of the box. "Lodge's cast iron pans are literally the best pans I have ever used in my life," gushed one Amazon reviewer.

These all-natural dryer balls are made of 100% New Zealand wool to help soften your laundry and cut down on static, so you can take harsh chemical softeners and dryer sheets out of your laundry room for good. When you toss a few into your dryer, they help break up any heavy clothes, towels or sheets so they can dry properly. The wool can also suck out the water and condensation from inside your dryer and improve the airflow, helping cut down on total drying time (and energy bills!)

While they do get marked down every so often, it's worth grabbing these affordable dryer balls even when they're just a few bucks off. They could decrease your drying time, and in the long run, save you money on your energy bill.

Martha Stewart is practically the poster girl for age-defiance. One thing she's done to keep time's work at bay is regularly treating herself to facials at Mario Badescu's skin-care salon. In fact, her facialist shared the star's go-tos, and one major step in her routine is this face mask, which you can try for only $14 (down from $20) at Amazon.

"This tightened my skin and got rid of the bags under my eyes," marveled one shopper who tried it.

While the mask is already a fraction of what a professional facial costs, you'll get at least a month or two of at-home facials with this jar (and that's if you use it daily). A little definitely goes a long way.

Blame in on the '90s or Y2K fashion trends resurgence, or basics heavy "rich mom" style social media loves, but plain, ribbed white tank tops have made a comeback. No need to spend a lot of money on them, though. To be honest, they all look the same. However, this one is under $10 on sale, has wide enough straps that you can wear a regular bra with it, and shoppers say it's not see-through.

If you already have enough white tanks, this one also comes in black, navy, olive green, beige and plethora of other colors.

When your device is dead, having a power bank on hand can truly save the day. This one supports fast charging and is able to boost an iPhone to 78% in just one hour. It has three separate ports (two USB-A, one USB-C) so that you can charge up to three devices at once. That cute paw print? It's also a charge indicator. You can see how much power is left on the battery with just a glance.

"I bought this for Disney and I would say it is absolutely the most valuable thing I bought for the trip," raved a grateful shopper in the reviews.

As for the deal — it's worth grabbing one of these if you're the friend whose phone always seems to be dying.

If you're looking for a small, portable speaker to take to the beach, picnic, pool and beyond, nab this one while it's on sale for just $20. Yes, 20 bucks! It can connect to your phone via Bluetooth so you can play your tunes out loud via Spotify, Amazon Music and more.

Now, this speaker does drop down to $20 here and there, but the price fluctuates so often, there's no telling when it will be this low again.

Snail mucin is a mucus-like protein that contains multiple compounds — including collagen, elastin and glycolic acid — that experts have long considered beneficial for human skin. (Don't know it 'til you try it!) This serum contains snail mucin and more than 900,000 Amazon shoppers have reportedly bought it in the last 30 days, so you could say it's pretty popular.

Our own beauty editor was skeptical, but tried it: "I saw a noticeable improvement in my skin's texture within the first day and even more so after two weeks. My skin was more supple, my fine lines appeared less deep and my face appeared generally more even and had a sort of glow."

Now that it's on sale, take the chance and give it a shot!

Can you really put a price on clean water? The LifeStraw is a personal water purifier and the brand says it can turn water from streams, rivers and lakes into pure, safe drinking water by removing up to 99.99% of bacteria.

Take it camping or hiking and you can save yourself the hassle of lugging around a heavy water bottle. There's no limit as to how many times you can use it, so considering cost per use, this baby's pretty swell.
